During my Provence trip with New York Times Journeys, we were treated to many marvelous and tasty adventures. One of the travelers was John Boydston, a freelance photographer based in Atlanta. Check out this photo essay of the Arles market (a Saturday and Wednesday market, although larger on Saturday). You can see more of John’s work at www.jobo.smugmug.com or on Instagram @johnboydstonphoto. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll let John’s photos do the rest of the talking. Thanks Marjorie
You know how special that Provençal light is… I thought of you every time I locked eyes on apricots which you celebrated so well in your watercolor!
