Nothing announces “springtime” better than freshly picked bunches of asparagus. At Président Wilson market, one of my favorite vendors is Joël Thiébault.

Hi, I went to Paris few month ago and visited the Président Wilson Market. It was amazing, but mostly I saw on that day in the Market were full of vintage beautiful stores. On which day do they open vintage flea market there? Or was it just a temporary_ I just want to visit again!!
The Marché Président Wilson does have some vintage sellers on a regular basis, but maybe you happened to strike it lucky and be there at a time of a brocante fair? Those are roving flea/vintage markets and occur in different neighborhoods throughout the spring & summer. Can’t say for sure without knowing more details…I think you simply need to plan another return trip soon!
I was in Paris for a week last summer and I do not speak French. The only two words that I used in French were Bonjour and mercy and that was eunogh. I visited major turisty Paris attractions, ordered food in restaurants without any communication problems. No one treated me as ugly american . Though, I still have a Russian accent:-) The only problem during the whole trip I encountered was finding luggage lockers in Paris Train Station before going for 2 days to Brussels. I spent 45 min asking and searching and finally gave up and locked my luggage when I came to Brussel Train station.
Amazing!
